paschima namaskarasana ~ reverse prayer pose

The Reverse Prayer Pose is a great pose for those with tight wrists and forearms. It stretches the flexors of the wrist. If you find it impossible to bring any more than the fingertips together, grab the wrists or the elbows from behind.

Ah, I didn’t know this was a yoga pose! I’ve been doing this since I was in elementary school whenever I needed to release tension in my shoulders.
